Check All The Windows!

I recently heard on the news an account of how a burglar broke into a families home in New York in a very suttle way. The house was very secure, all except one small bathroom window that had no lock. The thief entered through that small window and burglarized the home for thousands of dollars worth of electronics and sentemental jewelery! The enemy of that family made it in through one unlocked small window!

The Bible tells us of another enemy that roams around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour, and like the perpetrator, he is always looking for the unsecured window - the unlocked door — any area of our lives that we have left unprotected.  We must purpose to guard our hearts, for an unsecured window of the soul is an invitation for the enemy to creep in and wreak havoc on our lives. He wants to do more than look, and he’ll take advantage of any easy access he can find. The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy.

So make sure you’re not leaving any area of your life vulnerable to attack. Thank you for your prayers over the past several weeks, Church of Champions is experiencing a mighty revival, seeing one of our great ladies Sunday Night receive the Holy Ghost and many others giving their lives to Jesus Christ -

Like my husband has always said …When it’s of God, Who can overthrow it?

This has been quite a storm the last few months!! In fact this has been one of the biggest storms to come our way, but the forecast for C.O.C. is sunny and soft revival winds blowing! The Lord has never been better to my family and I, and I have been feeling so close to the Lord lately! He is letting me know that He has got everything under control. I have learned that we cannot live or make decisions on feelings alone, and I have always “known” that, but I have had to put it to practice and live that over these last few months.

Now that the storm has passed I can really say more than ever before I have learned that the scripture Philippians 3:10  ”That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;”  is and has been my heartbeat!  Lord if I could just know you in a more intimate way than everything ,my heart, my thoughts and my intentions will stay and be pure!

It’s all about you Lord! If we could keep our eyes and focus on Him than we will be more than able to stand! I feel more strong than ever before! Like Pastor has said you can take our “coat of many colors, but you can’t take our favor!” I am living in the F.O.G. (Favor of God), and I’ve got my G.A.M.E. (God Against My Enemies) face on!

I want to say a special THANK YOU to all of those who have been praying for our family and church family! We love you!  Also a big THANK YOU to the C.O.C. family for the love and support that my husband and I have felt from all of you we LOVE all of you! Until next time “Just Keep Punching!”

Dancing In The Rain!

The storms in life come most often when we are not expecting it. Have you ever been enjoying a beautiful day, and without warning the storm clouds come in and ruin our plans for a beautiful day at the park with the kids, or that cookout that we had planned, or simply a faily day out. The weather in Clarksville can change very quickly and without warning.

The storms in our walk with the Lord can come most often when everything is going great and we are on “cloud nine”. We often think “wow” what is this all about?  Surely this is a mistake because things have been going so great, but Lord where are you now that the winds and the rain are beating down on me, and it seems that I can’t find a place of rest. We often question the Lord instead of using this storm or circumstance in our life as a growing experience.

I read a quote not too long ago it really stuck with me ,”Life is not waiting for the storm to pass it’s about learning to dance in the rain!”  That is so true. If we would take a hold of faith, patience and prayer during the time of our storm knowing that “All things work together for the good” it would be so much better and let us always keep in mind that we’re not going under we’re going OVER!

I hope you have enjoyed our brief time together today! Thank you for visiting and remember to keep praying for the Church of Champions in Clarksville. God is doing alot of amazing things - If you’re in the area be sure to join us in a service real soon!
